Workstation reference
Purpose: Look up the supported readers and the exact secure-device profile each one uses, plus the advanced tools that are support-directed only.
When to use this: When you're setting the Secure Device for a workstation in the cloud and need the exact value, or when support asks you to use an advanced tool.
Supported countertop readers
The workstation works with Datacap-secured readers. The most common at the counter are the Verifone P400 and Verifone M400. The PAX A920 Pro is also used.
Secure Device profiles
The Secure Device value in a workstation's cloud config must match the reader model exactly, or the reader won't work. Use the value from this table. Lead choices are at the top.

Some sites run readers in a P2PE program. Those use the same value with _BLUEFIN in place of _E2E (for example EMV_P400_DATACAP_BLUEFIN). Use the P2PE value only when the site is set up for it.
Advanced tools (support-directed only)
The workstation has a separate admin page reached by typing its address into the browser. It holds destructive actions, clearing logs, clearing the workstation's local data, clearing the cloud cache, and resetting the workstation's stored data.
These actions can't be undone and will wipe stored transactions and local state. Only use the admin page when support walks you through it for a specific reason. For everyday work, the config dashboard has everything you need.
