Handheld
The handheld payment app. It can take orders and payments on its own, act as the reader for a counter, or run a tableside or kiosk flow, depending on the mode you put it in.
Set up
- Setup & workstation binding: sign in and bind the device to a workstation.
- Entering Device Settings (the unlock gesture): the gesture that opens the hidden settings panel. Almost every other handheld task starts here.
Choose how it runs
- Modes of operation: one page per mode. The app ships in Order & Pay; the other modes are a single toggle away.
Take payments
- Payment procedures: tips, receipts, refunds, pre-auth, gift cards, and more.
- Push offline transactions: send stored transactions to the server when the network is back.
