Which mode am I using?
Purpose: Figure out how this site takes payments so you can jump to the right triage.
When to use this: You're troubleshooting but you're not sure which mode of operation this site runs.
Answer one question: where is the payment taken?

Check it on the handheld
If a handheld is involved and you still aren't sure, read its settings:
- Open Device Settings with the unlock gesture (in Checks mode, long-press the "…" bottom-left).
- Look at these:
- Mobile Redirect is ON with a target IP: the handheld is acting as a counter reader, that's Order & pay with a pinpad.
- Checks mode is ON: that's Pull & pay with a handheld.
- Neither is on: it's the default Order & pay with a handheld.

Start with the issues that can happen in any mode, and set up the VitaPay Event Viewer filter so you can see what the service logged while you narrow it down.
