Check Streaming mode
Purpose: Mirror the check to a customer-facing display so the customer can follow along.
When to use this: When the customer should see the check as it's built, recommended for retail, though it's guidance, not a rule.
Turn it on
- Open Device Settings with the unlock gesture.
- Find the Check Streaming section and set Streaming: ON.
- Pick the look that suits the room with Dark Theme or Light Theme.
- Tap Close, then Back To POS.
How it works day to day
- As items are added, the customer-facing view updates so the customer can see what they're being charged for.
- Switch between Dark Theme and Light Theme to match the lighting and the display.
Verify
- The customer-facing display shows the live check.
- Switching the theme changes the display immediately.
